Background. Paul has held a real estate broker license since 1985 and a certified residential appraiser license since 2008. He’s the owner of Independent Appraisal Corporation and iappraise.com, with experience spanning commercial and residential real estate, property management, and right-of-way.

Focus & experience. His appraisal work began in 1993 and includes corporate-owned real estate, right-of-way and easements, high-end homes, and complex valuation problems. He primarily serves Oakland County and parts of Wayne County.

Community. Farmington Hills resident; has two grown children, active with Parks & Recreation; supporter of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen; competitive pickleball player and coach at Paddle & Par (Beverly Hills). Dog: Wheaton terrier “Mac.”

Background. Krista has been a residential appraiser since 1992 and with Independent Appraisal Corporation since 1996. Her career began after a Realtor’s recommendation while searching for her first home, and she’s long been rooted in Commerce and White Lake Township.

Focus & experience. She covers Oakland, Livingston, and Wayne County residential markets. Her specialty is waterfront valuation and riparian rights; drawing on many years living on Wolverine Lake.

Community & athletics. Two grown children (Walled Lake Schools), now living in Indiana and California. Krista has coached volleyball in public schools and club programs, plays club volleyball, and travels nationwide for tournaments.

Background. Robert holds a Michigan Certified General Appraiser License and has extensive experience in the analysis and appraisal of all types of real estate for financing, estate purposes, and purchase or sale transactions.

Experience. His assignments include industrial, office, and commercial buildings; hotels, restaurants, and recreation properties; residential developments including condominiums, subdivisions, and apartments; and vacant land of all classes. He has also appraised operating and abandoned railroads.

Specialization. Robert has a long background in public condemnation activities, representing both public agencies and property owners, and he is a long-standing member of the International Right of Way Association.

Background. Steve has been appraising since 1991 and has been an associate with Independent Appraisal Corporation since 1995. He is an experienced analyst preparing valuation reports for lenders and for private clients, including divorce, estate and probate settlement, and tax appeal assignments.

Focus & experience. Steve has in-depth knowledge of residential markets throughout Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne County, completing reports in communities across all three counties. His work includes acreage and vacant land, waterfront properties, 2–4 family and multifamily homes, single-family residences, and condominiums. Over the past 35 years he has worked both as an appraiser and as a Realtor, including experience in commercial and residential property management.

Community & interests. Steve is married with four adult children and has lived in the West Bloomfield / Farmington Hills market area for more than 35 years. He enjoys golf, landscaping projects, and automobile-related hobbies.
